Can I get a refund of monies paid if I change my mind about registering in Western Australia?
No, once you have submitted your application it will be processed immediately and referred to the next available Board meeting.
Why was my application form returned to me instead of being held in the office?
Incomplete applications will be returned to you for completion. The Board cannot process an incomplete application and will return it to the applicant for completion. You are requested to check if all the required sections have been completed, all required documentation provided and the fee attached before forwarding an application to us for processing.
Will the Board keep in contact with me throughout the registration process?
The staff at the Board will keep you informed at all times in the form of written correspondence. You will be advised when your application will be submitted at the Board Meeting and once the Board has met, you will be advised in writing of the Board’s decision.
Will I be required to complete any examinations?
This decision is entirely up to the Board upon reviewing your application. You will be advised in writing of the Board’s decision once the Board has met and reviewed your application.
How often do I need to renew my registration?
Registration is due annually. You will be sent an invoice at the end of December or early January of each year and payment must be received by the end of January to avoid penalty fees.
How do I change from Employee to Principal or visa versa?
